Our Lady of the Assumption Parish has proudly provided our parish and the surrounding Catholic community with ACTS Men and Women Retreats since 2019, with the help and guidance of our Missioning ACTS Core team from Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Portland Texas.  Last year 2023 we have successfully completed our 2nd Men's ACTS Retreat in May, 2023 and 2nd Women's ACTS Retreat in September, 2023.

We have an upcoming 2024 Men's ACTS Retreat for May 2-5, 2024.  This year's retreat will be led by Director Mason Matern,  Co-Directors Tony Martinez and Jon Davis and Spiritual Companion Ed Polasek.

What is an ACTS Retreat?

An ACTS Retreat is a parish-based event which offers parishioners an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ. This in turn fosters a desire for intentional discipleship.  The 4 day retreat begins on a Thursday evening and ends with the morning mass on Sunday.

ACTS Retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners, and in this way, serve to build Christian community at the parish.
