Altar & Rosary Society

The Altar & Rosary Society is a ministry centered on the devotion to the Most Holy Rosary of our Blessed Mother Mary. We are a group of parish women dedicated to the preservation of the Altar and Sacristy of the church. We support all parish functions, including bingo, funeral receptions, the Lenten Fish Fry and church festivals. We also assist in events with the Knights of Columbus and Youth Group.

To help our ministry grow we serve one day a month in the concession area during Bingo and conduct regular bake sales throughout the year. We also take part in the annual Family Fun Festival by hosting a booth at the event. 

Every year, during Thanksgiving and Christmas, we recognize and remember the sick, elderly and homebound of our parish by supplying baskets to them with everything they need to prepare their holiday meal.  For each funeral at our parish we provide a luncheon for the family and all those who attended the celebration of life. If the funeral mass is not held at the regular scheduled time the Society will deliver a meal to the family home. Four beautiful women of the Society maintain the parish Food Pantry every 3rd Wednesday of each month. The women sort and distribute food from 9:00am to 2:00pm. 

The Altar Society is very much a group of strong prayerful women for anyone who is need of prayer and healing.
