Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals on Tuesday evenings, 7pm in the Choir Loft. Sing at 11:30am Sunday Mass, as your schedule allows. Contact the choir director.

Pray with us after all weekday masses in the adoration chapel the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Children must have the sacrament of Communion to be a member of the Altar Servers.  Meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 11:15 am in the parish hall.  Meetings during the summer months are not held.  For more information, please contact Gabriel Adame at 361-523-1875. 

The Parish Council is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Our next Parish Council meetings is on Monday, September 17th at 7:00pm in the parish hall.

Distribution of food every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:00 pm - 2:00pm behind the parish hall.

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Classes are held the 3rd Thursday of every month in the parish hall at 7:00 pm. Please contact the office at 361-776-2446, for more information.

Creating and Maintaining a Safe Environment classes are required by the Diocese of Corpus Christi, for all parish volunteers. Lectors are always needed for each mass. Lectors are responsible for mass readings and special prayer intentions during regular Saturday and Sunday mass times. All lectors will be trained by our lector coordinator. Please contact Rene Majek at 361-443-9869 if you are interested in being a lector.
